Oppositional Defiant Disorder

Children who are diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder are prone to negative, irritable moods and are frequently disobedient, defiant, and hostile toward authority figures. They are especially prone to defy their parents, especially their mothers. However, many children with this disorder are obedient and controlled with other adults. In their own home though they are argumentative, provocative, unpredictable and explosive.
